about

After almost a year of holding onto this song, I'm finally able to release it. This song is what spearheaded the idea for this solo project. This song is very special to me, as it's the first song I ever wrote about my wife and it was written while thinking back on our five-year relationship right up to when we were getting married; the ups, all the downs, all the in-betweens.

I hope you all enjoy this song as much as I do.

More information on my full project SOON!

lyrics

Have you been searching for me in your sleep?
Been searching for me endlessly?
Have you been looking for me?
Have you been searching for me?

"Excuse me, miss?
Can I have this dance with you?"
I'm watching the room and your hips move.
I wanna know how this all will go,
Are we making the best move?
Are we making the right decision
Or the worst one?

I know you know,
I'm not the one you wanted,
but you're constantly running laps in my head,
I'm getting back to the me that started it all,
and I'm desperately trying to make sure.
