about

Hey, guys.

After a year and a half, I have finally finished this piece of work. This EP means so much to me. This EP is the last few years of my life and more. It's the progress of my art, my soul, body, and mind. It's the ending of a chapter and the fresh start to a new one. I worked my hardest on this EP, and I hope you are able to take something away from it. These songs were a true labor of love, hate, and everything in between, and I am beyond grateful for them.

If you're reading this, I thank you. And if you're listening to these songs, I can't thank you enough.

This is only part one.
This is '94.

Much love!
-DOM

Track Name: My Youth
I feel it changing everywhere.
And I'm not running out,
I'm running to it.
I'm not a product of my generation,
but I am of yours.

I'm trying not to be backhanded,
and I'm trying not to walk alone.

I see it changing everywhere,
but you won't hear me out,
you'd rather see me die.
Its a revolution in my generation,
and you're insecure.

I'm trying not to be backhanded,
and I'm trying not to walk alone,
but you won't take it any way but yours.
I'm trying just to understand my youth.

And I'm not ashamed to feel like this.
Track Name: Searching
Have you been searching for me in your sleep?
Been searching for me endlessly?
Have you been looking for me?
Have you been searching for me?

"Excuse me, miss?
Can I have this dance with you?"
I'm watching the room and your hips move.
I wanna know how this all will go,
Are we making the best move?
Are we making the right decision
Or the worst one?

I know you know,
I'm not the one you wanted,
but you're constantly running laps in my head,
I'm getting back to the me that started it all,
and I'm desperately trying to make sure.
Track Name: Believe/Understand
Something's telling me I'm not on my way,
I don't believe that there's a whole lot to say,
I'll just conclude at the confession of the truth
that there's a whole lot of you left for me to understand.
Something's telling me you're trying to stay away,
I don't want it to be like this again.
You don't get to pick and choose out of this
just to leave me alone with the things you'll never miss.

Do you love me or do you not?
I can't pretend to tell the difference.
I just need you to believe or understand I can't do this again.
Do you love me or do you not?
I can't pretend to tell the difference.
I'm starting not to understand the lies that I fed myself for so long to keep you on the mend.

And I'm telling you... time takes everything.

And I don't know why time after time,
it draws me in just to lose my mind.
But I won't let go,
cause it feels so right
just to feel your problems lying next to mine.
Track Name: SINNER
I'm a sinner, lost in disguise.
I'm a sinner, open my eyes.
I'm a sinner, deep down inside.
I'm a sinner, take me inside.

How am I supposed to be everything you want
when I can hardly be anything for myself?
I need to that I have something for myself.

If I'm here all alone,
I swear I'll gladly take the pain away from you.
