Although we're happily married now, my wife and I didn't have the best relationship throughout high school. Typical high school nonsense getting in the way. Several break ups, many fights, lots of dirty moves, but at the same time, there was no way we could stay away from each other.

This song is about how stubborn I was to commit to a real relationship, but its from her perspective. I tried to paint out how hard it probably was for her to love me so dearly just for me to run as fast as I could in the opposite direction. I don't think I captured half of what she really felt, but I believe that this is something everyone can relate to.
